Christmas and winter classroom display

A brilliant christmas tree classroom display to make with the little ones.

Great for fine motor skills and learning to use a pair of scissors, the children will cut green card to make this beautiful christmas tree classroom display.

Add some lights and make it christmas! If you take the lights off and add some snow make it a winter classroom display! As quick as that turn the christmas classroom display into a winter classroom display!

The Nutcracker christmas classroom display

christmas classroom dislay

An original and cute christmas classroom display to make with the children.

How bored are you of christmas tree’s, santa’s and snow? this year it’s time to make that christmas classroom display totally different!

Create a nutcracker scene on the display panel, read the story to the children and then get them to make cute silver mice, and colour in nutcrackers toys!

They will love it!

Thanks Sarah for a great christmas classroom display!

A christmas display panel made with children from reception.

A cute idea to make with the little ones for a display panel. Make a christmas scene and then the children can practice and write their letters of christmas objects for the display panel .

The result will be a cute display panel like this christmas display panel!

Another beautiful display panel made by Sarah.

A big christmas tree painted on the background with different ornaments on the tree made by the children and then beautiful little christmas cards stuck on the display panel.

A great display panel that at the end of the day you can just take those christmas cards down and hand them to the children!

Christmas lights Bulletin Board

I have always come across this bright christmas bulletin board and think it is great.

I found it on flickr and think it makes a beautiful christmas display panel. It looks like it will be great fun to make with the children also. I would get the children to make all different houses, colours and sizes.

If you access to a plug next to the display panel it is a great idea to put christmas lights on it. I’m sure everybody will stop and look at the bulletin board.

Display panel and Christmas Card stockings!

A wonderful idea to either decorate your display panel in the classroom or use to make a christmas card to send home.

If you choose to use this as a display panel you can make them with a hole so the children could put a treat in their christmas stocking! They will love the idea of having a christmas stocking on their bulletin board!

Display Panel Gingerbread House

IMG_1488

Make a gorgeous gingerbread house display panel with your class to give your bulletin boards that special touch!

You can get the children to help make the different parts of the display panel. The biscuit roof was made with thick brown paper and the biscuit design was painted on with brown paint. This would be a perfect class activity to do in an art lesson with all the children. The display panel can be made with children of all ages.

The house is made out of brown card put together and the bricks are made with sponge and paint, again another task for the children to help with. The door is easy with thick brown card and sweets stuck on it to give it that Hansel and Gretel effect!

The windows are transparent and you can use them to put information in them for the children to see. It can be your spelling for the week, you sound for the week or to display the weather.

The best thing about this wonderful gingerbread house display panel is the option to make it “christmassy” by adding the light and the candy cane at the bottom.

I hope you enjoy making this beautiful display panel!
