christmas classroom display

A cosy christmas scene by the warm fireplace classroom display.

This is a cooperative christmas classroom display done by the school’s spanish department.

All the children participated making the 3D book shelf, the window collage, the hand christmas tree and the singing carols. The children loved making this christmas classroom display.

Thank you to all the spanish department for making a great classroom display!

A great christmas activity to make with the children during those last days at school before christmas.

You will need green card, a template of a christmas tree, sticky back plastic and lots of different coloured paper for the children to cut up. They can then decorate the classroom or hung them from the christmas tree!

A brilliant christmas activity made by Kaylee.

A fun winter display panel to make with all the class.

The children will love making this interesting winter display panel, create the background out of white card to make it look like snowy mountains, and get the children to make pictures of people skiing, a ski bar…

You can decorate the sky of the display panel with snowflakes also made by the children.

Christmas lights Bulletin Board

I have always come across this bright christmas bulletin board and think it is great.

I found it on flickr and think it makes a beautiful christmas display panel. It looks like it will be great fun to make with the children also. I would get the children to make all different houses, colours and sizes.

If you access to a plug next to the display panel it is a great idea to put christmas lights on it. I’m sure everybody will stop and look at the bulletin board.

A clever display panel about christmas.

A beautiful christmas tree to make as a class activity and then the children individually make the symmetrical mandalas.

display panelTo make the tree on the display panel you will need dark green card and some decorations for the tree. You cut strips on the card and the curl them to give them the 3D effect.

The symmetrical mandalas make a nice christmas effect on the display panel.

This display panel was made with a year 3 class.

A Green Christmas Card!

IMG_1473

A brilliant idea for children in key stage 2 to make their own christmas card.

Being green is something we all have to think about what better way to educate the next generation by creating a green christmas card! Think of all the shop bought cards that get thrown away every year after the festive season. Rather than add to this teach children about the three R’s while sending a beautiful christmas message too!
