A pirates day display panel

Here is a great way to show off that great excursion!

We went on a pirates day excursion to a pirate ship park and decided to display our work for everyone to see. To make the display panel more interesting we added a cardboard ship some blue card for waves, some pirate paintings made by the children and some photos of our day.

On the rest of the display panel we put the children’s work about that day.

A very quick pirate display panel.

Make a big pirate ship out of thick cardboard, paint it with the children and add gold paint for the details. Make a cute child friendly pirate flag to put on the ship. Make the background of the display panel blue so it looks like the sea, add some tissue paper to make the waves and then put the children’s work on the display panel!

The children will love it and it won’t take you that long to make this pirate display panel!

Here’s another great pirate classroom display.

The ship is the same one as other display, and it was used as a role play area. Behind the ship we made a beach scene display on the window to look like a desert island. We put props behind the ship such as pirate hats, bandanas, eye patches, coins, maps… so the kids could play.
