Role area Display panel
Create a small role area for the children to play in out of a display panel.
Using different teaching resources you can create different areas in the classroom for the children to interactive and play in. Here is an example of a small display panel area turned into a role play. Using a simple background and adding a bit of card to make it look like an Italian restaurant, the children can play with plastic food and toy money imagining they are in an Italian restaurant. They can take orders and count money with each other.
The teaching resources used for this display panel are printed from sparkle box, where you will be able to find lots of other ideas.

Hibernation Teaching Resources
A hibernation booklet class activity. Choose the difficulty by adding more lines to write on and what to write on the booklet.

Get the children to add a glossary to the booklet to make it more challenging and so the children understand the concept of fiction and non fiction books. Get the children to write a fact about the animal in the picture during hibernation.
