Get the children to add a glossary to the booklet to make it more challenging and so the children understand the concept of fiction and non fiction books. Get the children to write a fact about the animal in the picture during hibernation.

This is a excellent way to test the children if they have been listening to all those fun penguin facts! The children can write different sentences about penguins in this little penguin booklet and then draw a picture.

Here’s a brilliant winter display panel to make with the little ones.
Make a snowman outline and combine them on white and blue card to create the different colours. Help the children cut out and stick the accessories on the snowman and then put them all up on a big display panel in the classroom.

Snowflakes and stars and snow and trees is all we see for winter display panels! And to be fair it does get a little bit boring! So this is a gorgeous display panel to do with winter and snowflakes but with a change to make it different!
A mixture of gold glitter stars with amazing snowflakes not only made out of white paper but with metallic effect make this beautiful winter display panel. It was hard work to make these amazing snowflakes but the children managed with some help!
To add to the display panel the children wrote a wish in beautiful handwriting and their work is displayed between the snowflakes and stars.
