A display panel made by reception working as a team and covering all the learning points from the curriculum.

The reception team worked with the children to create this amazing display panel. Each classroom focused on a part of the display panel and then it was all put together. The teachers created the background and added different bits to the display panel to brighten it up but most of it was made by the children.

The different work the children made for the display helped with their fine motor skills, counting and letter learning. The children made big pictures out of the story by painting, cutting and sticking tissue paper. They also made snowflakes with their teachers to create a winter border effect around the display panel.

During the “making of” the children learnt all about the snowman and did different activities in class to do with the story. They also saw the film and even role played the story! It was great fun and everyone enjoyed making this amazing display panel!
